As Founder and President of Victorious Women Empowerment Movement, Sisters Helping Sisters, Elder Veronica Moody leads a transformative nonprofit organization dedicated to successful reentry and community rebuilding.
From her early outreach work in Camden to establishing comprehensive support programs, the organization focuses on transitional housing programs, prison reform advocacy, educational partnerships, community support services, spiritual mentorship, and life-skills development.
With more than 35 years of community service experience and a deep understanding of reentry challenges, Elder Moody creates pathways to success for returning citizens and their families. The organization provides the tools, support, and resources needed for successful community reintegration.
Community impact
A steadfast presence in the Camden community
For over 35 years, Elder Veronica Moody has been a dedicated servant to the Camden community, consistently providing direct support to individuals and families in need. Her grassroots efforts include feeding people experiencing homelessness, clothing those in need, mentoring women and families, and offering spiritual guidance to those facing life challenges.
One of the organization's most impactful initiatives is its monthly Women Empowerment Movement gatherings at the Moorestown Mall. These gatherings have grown to serve more than 100 women and continue to expand, providing a safe, supportive environment with encouragement, access to resources, and tools for personal and emotional growth.
